Ink Masters star Chris Blinkston ‘arrested after choking his 13-year-old daughter so hard he SQUEEZED off her airway’

Former Ink Masters contestant Chris Blinkston was reportedly arrested for choking his 13-year-old daughter.

The tattoo artist, who appeared on series 6 of the Spike show in 2015, was arrested and charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation after allegedly choking his daughter so hard with both hands that he cut off her airway, according to TMZ .

His daughter is said to have revealed the details of her father’s attack during a thearpy session on Tuesday, which followed the argument at his house during a custody visit. The teen claims to have been strangled twice earlier that day – something which trigged a police investigation.

According to the police report, obtained by the website, Blinkston’s daughter says the burly tattoo artist grabbed her around the neck and squeezed off her airway, leaving her unable to breathe for 10 seconds.

When he finally let go, she is reported as saying: “You just choked me, after everything that’s gone on the past two days, you’re choking me!”

The report allegedly goes on to state that Blinkston grew furious and again grabbed her by the neck, and this time cut off her airway for another 6 to 7 seconds.

He is also said to have called her cruel names, and supposedly said if she told anyone about the incident there would be hell to pay.

When police interviewed the girl they noticed marks on her neck, consistent with strangulation, the report noted. Whilst it’s also been recorded that the daughter is 5-foot-1, 110 pounds and Blinkston is 5-foot-11, 220 pounds.

TMZ reports that Blinkston was arrested on charges of felony domestic battery by strangulation, though the website goes on to state that he was released from jail Friday after posting $6,000 bail bond.

Mirror Online have reached out to representatives of the tattoo artist for comment, but are yet to receive a response.
